led lights off on car cd player?

I have a pioneer single cd player in my car, i had to take it out to replace a switch, since putting it back in the led lights that light up the front panel have gone off. Every thing works as normal except for it lighting up the front panel, it did come on once but went off again. any good sparkys out there please.

I had the same problem with mine. It would work fine, just the display wouldn't light. If it's one where the front panel can be removed for security reasons wipe the contacts (Plug/socket) over with a lint free cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol or failing that kitchen towel and water will probably do!

When you replaced a switch, was it internal to the CD player?

For a "contact" issue, a pencil eraser is good for cleaning contacts as well.
