why do I always get a cold sore right before that time of month?

I know how you feel i usually get them after i get sick. They are horrible. Try Abreva i know its expensive for such a little tube, But works for me.
Also Zovirax works. It is a prescription so ask your doctor. Good Luck, I feel your pain

Cold sores are caused by the herpes virus. If you are having breakouts often I would go get a prescription from your doctor.

Don't know. When I was little I would get them right before school would start. I mean, every year a couple of days before school would start.

i dont know why but if u want some help curing it go to a local spanish pharmacy and buy (PINK HONEY yeah thats the name i swear ) its a little purplish bottle and pretty inexpensive apply it with a cotten swap and it heals faster my mom told me to do it and i didnt believe her but after i did it i've done it ever since.
