If you can find the spot where the evil deed was done then clean it with neat biological clothes washing liquid. It works a treat on smells. Let it dry and then sprinkle it with bicarb of soda, leave for 2 hours and then hoover off. That spot will be the sweetest in the car;

Clean it with a quality detergent safe for fabrics, let it dry (you could sprinkle Bicarbonate of soda onto the area also as it absorbs odours - leave it overnight and then brush it up) and then spray with Febreze fabic spray - its as good as the deodorisers that pet centres sell and better value! It may take repeat applications so just keep spraying it on until eventually the smell fades.
Cat pee is notoriously strong - but with patience your car will soon smell better!

You can usually pick up a spray cleaner from a pet store that is good with getting cat pee smells out.
They have a variety of different kinds, and in my experience they all work fairly well, and are also not very expensive.
Hopefully that works!

Well renting a rug cleaner and washing the inside of your car is one way...otherwise try pouring baking soda all over the seat and leave it overnight...chances are the cat peed on the side of the seat. They like to lift their tails and pee along the side...mine did when she was in heat...all over my new sofas...
You can buy commercial spray for removing cat odour but frankly I prefer to clean pee off my furniture etc.

I think if it is on the car seat, spraying an odor elimenator will not be enough. You will probably have to POUR something like "Nature's Miracle" or "Petzyme" stain and odor eliminator where the cat peed. Both brands are safe for carpets and fabrics, so I'd go for these products.

Hi Julie...consider Nature's Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas. Car seats will require extra solution so consider buying the Gallon size to achieve the results.
Nature's Miracle Just For Catsproduct info: http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441775019&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302025596&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023690&bmUID=1167132360710&itemNo=0&Ntt=nature%27s+miracle+just+for+cats&In=All&previousText=nature%27s+miracle+just+for+cats&N=2
We've tested nearly all enzyme neutralizers available in the marketplace for our exotic cats which have stronger urine than domestic cats and found that Nature's Miracle Just for Cats has always worked the best.

Use a cleaner with an "oxidizing" agent. They use baking soda which a good odor reducer. Good luck.
