You are so right.......once the church changes it's view on things they separate themselves from God. God provided His word so these church leaders would follow His(Gods) teaching. Once they go beyond that, they go against God.
Revelation 22:18-19 says this.....
“I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll.

There is a difference between what was written as acceptable and the spiritual teachings of Jesus in the Bible! By your standards, you should be "covering your head" when you go to church (oh yeah, and not talk according to Paul, and not wear pants as "mens clothes"). So how can you say that church doesn't change with the times when it does... There are much more clear statements in the Bible about women than homosexuals but you don't see (many) churches forcing women to be a certain way.

Believing homosexuality is wrong is a personal thing, but many people often use the Bible as an excuse to make them feel better for judging others.

The bible says there is only one church. Look around. How many churches are there today? What does that tell you? The bible says for it's people to be in agreement and not divided. Oh Well, so much for that.

Society is changing and the church dose follow suit, and that's where the lies come in, Christ said to peter upon this rock I will build my church, that was how the catholic religion started, look around you we have so many dam Churches and denominations today we can't even count them all, they change the rules like they change their shorts, there is only one true church and that is the catholic church, so ask yourself what the hell happened to Christianity, or in more simple words (Christs true church)

Because historically, as society has changed, so has the church. Examples: stance on divorce, remarriage, premarital sex, working on Sunday, what kind of clothing you should wear, etc., etc. Sure, these things are still "bad" according to the Bible, but the church doesn't go crazy about it anymore.

The church no longer condones slavery. It used to, but not any more. They see how wrong it is. It took time. Centuries.

You can pretty much read whatever you want into the bible if you're so inclined.

I believe the church will have to change because many of its doctrines are an anachronism in the modern world. People aren't going to live their lives on the basis of a 2000 year old scripture.

One of the reasons, a minor one albeit, that I am not a Christian. Why on earth do you think that anything written over 2,000 yeras ago is the final word on any subject?

Its the usual, 'in your face' tactics of the gay agenda. They are always looking to change societies mind about the whole issue.
