I'm connecting speaker though my apartment but the wires are too short to go from room to room. How can I make them longer without cutting the wires and add more wire to it.

Hmmm ... I am wondering - are the speaker wires permanently connected to your speakers? (no terminal block in back of the speakers and the wires go straight into the speakers?) If so, you will need to do some disassembly to put in new wires if you don't want to cut and splice.

There are butt joints you can buy to extend wire, but I don't recommend it. The best thing to do is just getting more wire. For long lengths over 6ft. don't use anything less than 16gauge wire, 14 would be better. Also remeber to observe polarity. It will improve your bass response greatly.
