Depends on the person.

Many people are asymptomatic, while those with a compromised immune system can die within hours (from dehydration). Generally, cholera is a self-limiting disease, and resolves (in a healthy person, and rehydration therapy) in few days if not less.

Again, depends on the person and the case management. Oh, and although the use of antibiotics is not generally recommended, they are sometimes used to shorten the illness & lessen its severity, with varying success.

Hope this helps.
