Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.
Work out is most effective when ur pulse rate is optimum, say 120 for a youth, and maintained for a period of 15 minutes or so.

Actually, I've read in several fitness magazines (It's been a while, so I can't remember which ones) that, as far as weight loss/maintenance goes (I'm not sure if that's what you're concerned about) it's actually more beneficial than one 30 minute session. I'm not sure exactly why. Maybe because it gives you a metabolism boost at 3 different points each day. Maybe it just keeps you more focused on your goals, like a constant reminder to stay in a "fitness" state of mind. I know if I exercise in the morning, and that's it, I'll eat a healthy breakfast or luch, but then I want cake in the evening. If I exercise in the evening, it's the opposite. I want McDonalds or something for breakfast.

read an article, can't remember which, but supposely that a 15 min cardio is just as benefical as working out at 30 min. I would say as long as you're getting the heart pumping, you should be good.

I don't think so - I heard that you're supposed to keep your heart rate elevated for 22 minutes straight for the maximum benefit. Don't know where that number came from, though, so...

i believe you will get the same benefits as far as losing weight b/c you are buring calories the same. but i think you need consecutive 30 min for your heart health.

Hi Mia,
I asked the question bout my boyfriend not calling me back and it's been three days, you think I'm overeacting? I've decided to wait for his call so I'm not chasing after him, what should I say when he calls? You think if I go off it with him he'll think I'm insecure?
sorry for not answering your question....I'm just worried he's lost interest! xx
