Im off to St Lucia at the end of march. I have a 11.5 month old baby who will be 1yr & 1 month when were there. The problem i have is that they have no laws for car seats. He can go on our laps and its ok! I dont want to do that. How would i get a car seat on the plane? Dont think i can buy one out there! Desperatly need one! Help!!!!!

You can check the car seat in as luggage. Make sure it is well labelled with your name and destination. When you check it in, the hostess will label it with the flight details. I wouldn't count on trying to get one there. If they don't have laws for them then they won't be very easy to find. Have a good time.

On most planes you are able to take a car seat (and usually a small buggy) on the plane, provided you purchased a seat for your youngster. Phone your flight provider and ask for details :)

You can check the car seat in as hold luggage (and pushchair) and then collect it with your cases. Have a nice time.

If your child purchase a seat,you may bring it onboard and attach it to his seat,if not you can check in as per normal baggage.If checking in,remember to pack it in a box or plastic carrier to avoid it getting dirty or damp.
