Hey I don't believe in God but still you have to do what you think is right. Back when I was in church I always heard that people develop a relationship with God, so I would think that you should do what makes you comfortable.

I disagree with Mrssunshine even though Shes probably a really fine person,,, She's right about Satan trying You still...Worship God Alone at home. Churches and People will lead You astray, Don't worry about what other people think, just worry about what God thinks, Your relationship with God should be between God and You, not anybody else. read your KJV bible and let it find your mind body and soul, if you don't understand something its because you're not ready to, come back to it later and sooner or later you'll get it, asking others what the bible means will lead you into falseness and making a God that You are comfortable with, like most so called Christians out there. that's breaking the 2ND commandment, making a God in your own image...but you can't tell them that...God will let you know when the time is right.

If you just recently gave your life to Christ, why are you even worrying about the differences between "old school tradition" and "new jack movement"?
Get to know Jesus on a personal level so He can lead you closer to God. Forget theories and philosophies and approaches and such, get some meat into you before you start into the delicacies of your salvation.

I understand, You are not wrong you are still working it all out.
Please paitent and understand Satan is still trying to play with your mind. I don't know what the old school tradition or the new jack moment is, but I understand you may still have doubts. That seems normal to me, just keep reading the Bible and studying and hang out with people from your church. I don't know if you are a youth or not, but youth groups or a group I did hang out in was over 30's. You need to stick with like minded people to keep you in there. The world today is hard to keep to your faith. Be strong. All the best.

You must understand my brother that people have it confused nowadays because it's not about religion or the people of the church it's about the spirit and that means God's spirit. it's all about fellowshiping with God in the name of Jesus Christ because he is our Lord and Saviour and through his Holy Spirit. The world began with God and because the people of the World were rebellious against God, he sent forth his only begotten perfect son to walk in the righteous way in hopes that the people of the world may look at that and also follow his leadership in the world. Now after Jesus Christ left us in flesh, he left us Gods Holy Spirit, whuch is what we have today and we should be lead by the Holy Spirit that the Lord gave and is within us. Therefore, it isn't about the people of the church, your pastor, your spiritual leader,it's about the holy spirit of the Lord, and are you serving him the right way and praising and worshipping him the way you need to, so that his holy spirit can direct you. If you are not, then get down on your knees every morning and every night and let the holy spirit direct you and lead you to where you need to be in understanding Jesus Christ.
God Bless you My brother

You become a Christian not to be religious but to having a living and intimate relationship with Jesus. Jesus is your role model for being a Christian not your pastor or any other great leader. You need to know God's word by attending church especially the revelation of Jesus in the word. You need the baptism of the Holy Spirit to have Jesus' power in you and to develop into His character by having the fruit of the Spirit. You are not called to any club or movement God expects you to be transformed to be like Jesus. When you are baptized in the Spirit you will have thezeal for Jesus to want to know and love Him more. Your journey has just began. Choose the right destination. God bless and make you be like Jesus.

Well, its great you gave your life to Jesus, and now its time to get Baptized if you qualify as to the Bible's standards. But really how is he instructing you in being a preacher yourself????
The bible states that a christian will mature from a baby eating baby food to solid food. So intense study is part of your worship to God. Understanding what God requires of you should/would motivate you to act in a more "traditional" manner.

feelings are not wrong or right its what we do with or how we handle these feelings that make for wrong or right and as far as how you feel about church being saved is much more about you and god than about how where or when you worship it is important to comune with those of the same confictions but hardly the main issue relax god will provide you what you need
