My boyfriend gets mad at me if i distract him in a video game, or dont put the cup on the coaster, or leave the door unlocked. He yells, and he actually punched a hole in the wall the other day because i almost layed on his hand that he hurt a while back. How do i act when he does these things to keep him calm. He has a history of anger problems. But he is going to anger management. It is helping some and i am trying to support it and not react too badly when he does that. I dont want to work him up or talk back, so usually i just keep quiet. I dont feel its right. This is why I broke up with my ex. He made me feel unequal and like a screw up. But i love him and i know he is trying. What should i do?

It sounds like the anger management is NOT working, from what I read here. Are you two going to counseling together? You should, it would open a lot of doors & shed some light on WHY he is upset so much. Does he have a history of abusive relationships? Was he abused as a child? Screwed over by a woman real bad? Some people have hormone imbalances that make them more apt to be moody & angry. In some people, rage is simply a chemical reaction in the brain; cause & effect, with solutions. If you love him & want to stick around while he deals with this & expose yourself to potential abuse in the process, get into counseling, see a dr that the counselor recommends. GOOD LUCK

OK, to be fully honest.
He doesn't want a girlfriend.
He wants a girl he can say is his.
Just let him go.

Don't you want someone that makes you
feel special all the time.

If you don't do something, this could end fatal for you.
It could wind up being an abusive relationship.
I don't want to hear anything bad on the news.

You love him? Are you sure your not a little co-dependent? You love the feeling he gives you? You love that you come second to a game? You need to go to coda and he need anger management.

Let him hear the door slam as you leave. And let that be the last thing he will ever hear from you.
