Nobody seems to believe the premise that, 'if God was able to create Adam as an adult, He would also be able to create an adult earth, so to speak'.
I think this is an important issue.
Carbon-14 is considered to decay linearly, and I cannot buy that.
There is nothing that decays on a straight line.
Decay is always a bell curve decline.
They consider Carbon-14 to decay linearly, because they have not studied Carbon-14 long enough to tell how the curve is plotted over time.
No matter what anyone believes, all the days of Adam were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died. (Genesis 5:5)

A lot of times I hear the argument against God or the possibility of a God running the show is: why so much suffering?
First of all, you only know your suffering. Other people might be illusion. I've noticed that in every great story there is suffering. Watch any movie - you'll see pain - conflict. Almost all great songs, stories, and games have some conflict. Pain makes conflict more dramatic - more real. How can you have an epic without our hero struggling - suffering. Though you may not think pain to be essential, it might be. For all you know you purposefully chose this painful existence - finding the reason for this pain might help you immensely in figuring out this reality, if it's fake

The age of Adam given at the birth of his son was calculated from the time he left the garden until the birth of his son.
I believe that Adam and Eve existed in the garden for millions of years while evolution happened all around them.
Which makes science and religion agree

Ok for the last time in this forum. I have covered this question in depth and if you Quit living "solo scriptura" and open your mind you will see that the possibilities of a much older world are very real. One thing that every one seems to forget when talking about Creation vs. Evolution let me help... God is timeless- that is he transends all time.

The Bible tells us how old Adam was when his son was born. Add the days of creation. It can be done , forget what the scientists are saying, carefully add all the information. You're doing the same thing many others have done. Have fun with it.

There is no confusion> Religion is grouping together for oneness to study the teachings of God while evolution is a work of science which deals with the study of your origin (but doubtful). creationist are those that deals with the invention of men which is also science

Well it sort of says that you can add six days on to that and that is it. So it does rather say that is how old the Earth is.
