Strawberries have lots of seeds which are good fiber for people with constipation. Here's an easy microwave strawberry sauce for pancakes, ice cream, or any type of plain cake:

Take (2) cups of berries, wash them and cut off the tops and leaves, then cut the berries into quarters. Put them into a microwave safe bowl and sprinkle with 3-4 tablespoons white sugar, stir, and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Taste to see if they're soft and have enough sugar. If not, micro for 15 more seconds at a time until they are soft and the sugar has made a syrup. Serve warm on pancakes, and cool to serve on ice cream or cake.

Good luck with your assignment!

Leave the fruit out, to get to room temp. Then put it in a blender, or bowl and mix it. Add a little sugar if it's not sweet enough, or you can add some brown sugar, to give it that sweet taste, and give it just a little zing.

With fruits that have a core like apples, if you have one, take a utensil that takes out the core. I can't remember what it's called, but you put it on the apple, in the middle, top or bottom, and you push down, and it will cut out the core. Peel it, then you cut it into 6-8 peices. If you don't have a core remover, then just peel it, and cut it into 6-8 peices, and carve out the core, from the cut peices.

Always be on the lookout for seeds, and/or the other parts that are hard and dangerous to your teeth lol. And remember to remove the stems, leaves, seeds, and anything else that isn't normally in a sauce.

Here's an idea for some applesauce:
Your favorite variety of apple (sweeter apples will need less sugar)
Apple juice or cider (100% juice preferable)
Sugar, to taste (I used brown sugar)
Cinnamon, to taste
A food processor

Preparation itself is simple...

1. Peel and chop the apples (I just chopped mine roughly, but keeping them around the same size will ensure that they cook evenly)

2. Toss the apples in a pot and add the apple juice until it just covers the apples (you could also cook the apples in water to weaken the strength of the apple taste)

3. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the apples are soft and somewhat transparent (about a half hour for me, but if your apples are more finely chopped, less)

4. Pour the apples and juice into the food processor and pulse until the texture is even

5. Take a taste and add sugar and cinnamon to your preferences (a sweeter sauce would make a good toping for vanilla ice cream)

Hope this works out for you! Good luck, and have fun!!!

Okay, the fruit with the most fiber and laxative effect is prunes. But the reason you can't eat too much of any fruit is that most have a lot of fiber. An easy sauce for what you want is whole cranberry sauce with diced prunes added. Very good. It also goes with meat or sweets. Boil a bag of cranberries and 1 cup of water, with the lid on, until they pop and are cooked, about 10 minutes. Add 1-1/2 cups of Splenda. (No sugar is good.) Add 1 cup of diced, dried prune pieces and cook slowly for 5 more minutes. That is the basic recipe. To spike it you can add 1 tablespoon of orange rind and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. Now taste it and adjust the flavors to your liking.

chop an apple up, melt some butter in a pan and add the apple and a little water, cook on a low heat until the apple is soft and you have a soft puree you can add a little sugar if you want to make it sweeter, voila apple sauce

You can usually just heat the fruit up and add in some sugar and whatever else you want to taste

a really easy one is a raspberry sauce. just put the raspberries in a food processor and puree them (which is pretty much until they are liquid). add a lil sugar and run it threw a seive. that pretty much it.

you can convert the fruit into a puree, then you can add myo, vinegar, soysauce or whatever additives you prefer and walllaaaah, you have a sauce. but be sure to remove the seed first.
