Yes its strange that in death the "do nothing" presidents
suddenly sprout wings and a halo. I think we put far too much power in death.It seems to be able to change facts,truth and history. Wow maybe it is all powerful because other than
stopping a heat it enables the dead to walk on water.
Bryan we also cant let emotion erode the facts of the era.

How old are you? I do not mean this as a slam, but rather an honest question. Most of us remember those days in this country. We were severely divided as a people and yes we did need to let go of past and try to move forward together. We could not do this if we allowed the divisiveness of the war and Watergate to continue to drive our emotions. Even the most vitriolic of Ford's detractors at the time admit today that his actions were proper and correct. You cannot allow emotion to rule opinion otherwise you will constantly exist in a state of hatred. Hatred only serves to keep you miserable.

I see that Ford was in the right place at the right time.My wife among others in our circle see He did nothing to gain notoriety. What else can be said about the man.
