Thomas Aquinas acknowledged difficulty in comprehending God's power. Aquinas wrote that while "all confess that God is omnipotent...it seems difficult to explain in what God's omnipotence precisely consists." In the scholastic understanding, omnipotence is generally understood to be compatible with certain limitations upon God's power, as opposed to implying infinite abilities. There are certain things that even an omnipotent God cannot do. Medieval theologians drew attention to some fairly trivial examples of restrictions upon the power of God. The statement "God can do anything" is only sensible with an assumed suppressed clause, "that implies the perfection of true power." This standard scholastic answer allows that creaturely acts such as walking can be performed by humans but not by God. Rather than an advantage in power, human acts such as walking, sitting or giving birth were possible only because of a defect in human power. The ability to sin, for example, is not a power but a defect or an infirmity. In response to questions of God performing impossibilities (such as making square circles) Aquinas says that "Nothing which implies contradiction falls under the omnipotence of God."

God is omnipotent, all-powerful to the extent that He can do anything that is in keeping with His Nature and Attributes. Since committing suicide would NOT be in keeping with His Nature and Attributes, then the question contains an oxymoron.

I think by being an omnipotent God that He'll know that suicide is a permanent solution to what's usually a temporary problem, so wouldn't chose that path to begin with.

I won't answer that because God won't commit suicide. But God did come back to life after being crucified.

EDIT: oh, and infrequently if you're actually not listening and paying interest, the answer would by no skill sign in on your ideas at the same time as it comes. at times the answer is so diffused that you seem over it, regardless of the reality that that is nonetheless there i promise. You mean Jesus Christ, Of course he could, and of course he would but who wouldd want to revert back to this corrupted world. God has the ability to do whatever he wants and he can send forth another like chrsit to make more changes and give extra blessing, but the words of the bible have already been fulfilled and we must read the scritptures and believe in the scriptures through faith and understanding.
