It isn't something you outgrow. However if you are stressed in life your atention span suffers. keeping attention is a learned thing and the more you do it the better it gets.

yes according to my therapist, I found out I had it only a year and a half ago. I'm 33, so this really explains a lot of things. I have a great book called "Driven to Distraction" can't remember the author, but look it up at Borders and you will find it. It helped me. Good Luck

Yes this problem happens. I suffer from it too. I need to quickly change things or do multiple things simultaneously otherwise I can't give the best of my concentration to whatever I am doing.

No, there is no possible way you could have ADD, if not diagnosed as a child, you are completely immune to all effects. In fact this is called youareadumbshititis. Please jump off of a cliff.
