good for the economy or bad for the economy?

The point of the mater is that this country was not founded on just "legal" people the only one that are truly from here are "native Americans" yet u dont hear them Bi@#*& about all the people that came here.
This country became as great as it is because it had many people from many different places (immigrants) that came to this contry, and each contributed something to it...

look at the current homeless people out there most of them are WHITE and its not because they got their jobs taken away from an immigrant its because they are LAZY.
and so what if they send money to Mexico, its their money, and they worked hard to get it, so why cant they do watever they want with it, dont u do that, if u earn money then u can do anythign u want with it right!!

immigrants are not here because they want to most of them are here because there are no jobs in their country, and its not their fault its because their gov. is currupt.

Maybe...it depends from what point of view you look it at. All iam saying is that there's no right and wrong answer for this. If you're rascist then it'll be bad, but if you're not then it'll be good. "So is neutral."

Mexicans who immigrate to this country and become legal American citizens are no longer Mexicans; they are Americans. Therefore, THEY, will be of an asset to the American society as a whole. Those who reside here illegally are breaking the law, bottom line. The money that they make being pimped out by American companies goes back home to Mexico, it doesn't stay here where it needs to be.

This not only pertains to Mexicans, but to all who are here illegally. In fact, in Radcliff, Ky recently there was a huge bust of Chinese illegals working for two Chinese brothers in the Chinese buffets. They were raking in the money by slaving out there own for the mighty dollar. So, its BAD for the economy. Illegal immigration is not good for America and those American citizens that are using cheap slave labor as there means to make more money are to blame too.

I believe that the Mexicans who enter the Country legally are a benefit but the illigeals are not. When the quota is exceeded, a strain is placed on every resource imaginable including Law Enforcement, Education and Emergency Medical Care.

Puh-leeze. Some people are good for the economy, and some people are bad for the economy. Some illegal, law-breaking aliens are good for the economy, and some illegal, law-breaking people are bad for the economy.

<< who else is going to do the work they do for the wages? and i knwo even this last fall my husband was making 9.00 an hour in tobacco because noone would work it including "americans" >>

What I hear you saying is that the entire workforce is comprised of illegal aliens? 100% of the workers are illegals? That would make it exceptionally easy to find the lawbreakers, wouldn't it? There are *no* legal|American people working [in tobacco]? Or, agriculture as a whole? Or homecare/laundry/childcare? (The list can go on.)

<< but if and i don't think it would happen a mass deportation occurred then we would crumble...>>

Where did you read this? On the Internet? Or did you make this up on your own?

Mexico is NOT a poor country. By sending its teeming masses to our country, that status keeps on rising. Mexico has more resources per square mile than the U.S. and plenty of money to take care of its own people. Why should the taxpayers of this country subsidize Mexico's corruption?

Illegal aliens are NOT necessarily coming here to work. CNN recently reported that 33 percent of our prison population is now comprised of non-citizens. Plus, 36 to 42 percent of illegal aliens are on welfare. So, for a good proportion of these people, the American dream is crime and welfare, not coming here to work.

Illegal aliens are NOT doing work Americans won't do. What jobs won't Americans do? In most states, Americans still clean their own houses, do their own landscaping, clean hotel rooms, work in restaurants and fast food places, paint houses, DO CONSTRUCTION WORK, work in airports, etc. - just like we have the past 200 years before "our" government allowed these people to invade our country. There are 18 million Americans who cannot find a job, so illegal aliens who are coming here to work do so at peril to American workers.

Illegal aliens absolutely do not contribute more than they cost. Certainly the millions in prison and on welfare aren't contributing a dime to our economy, and the ones who are working often are paid in cash with no deductions for taxes at all. The ones who use fraudulent social security numbers and qualify to pay taxes and social security have so many deductions for dependents that they pay little if any taxes.

The economy does NOT depend on illegal aliens. Sure, greedy CEOs (making $50 to $150 MILLION a year) and business owners depend on illegal aliens, the only thing illegal aliens are contributing to is the collapse of our economy and making the rich richer.

Without illegal aliens, the price of agricultural products and other goods and services will NOT soar. The definitive study on this subject is the University of Iowa's "How Much Is That Tomato?" The study concludes that 'since labor is such a small component of the end-price of agricultural products (which includes price to the growers, transportation costs, processing /storage costs, grocers' profit, etc.), using minimum wage workers instead of illegal aliens would increase prices of agricultural products by approximately 3 percent in the summer and 4 percent in the winter ... hardly the making of $10 heads of lettuce, $25 hamburgers, $1,000 per night Days Inn hotel rooms like the pro-illegal alien lobby claims.

I am speaking of illegal aliens ,legal immigrants from Mexico are Americans.

Legal Mexicans, that come here legally, have a social security number that was issued to them, and speak english and are productive members of society are good for our economy.

Mexicans that are here illegally are very bad for our economy.

I'm assuming you're referring to illegal immigrant Mexicans. The answer is bad. They take jobs that could otherwise be filled by U.S. citizens. They drive w/o licenses or insurance, which means unpaid taxes(DMV)and higher insurance rates for those who pay for it. Most are employed under the table and pay no income taxes, yet take advantage of many publicly funded programs. This puts a burden on programs intended to benefit U.S. citizens. Providers of health care get screwed too because even though illegal immigrants have no intent to pay for their medical care, hospitals are not allowed to deny care. This leaves the providers of health care holding the bag, so they raise their prices to those(Who pay their bills). Is this enough ? or do you want more?

both. who else is going to do the work they do for the wages? and i knwo even this last fall my husband was making 9.00 an hour in tobacco because noone would work it including "americans" .My husband also held a full time labor job besides that. also the illegals who work on alternative ids(fake, borrowed etc....} that work where they pay taxes don't file so thats tax money the gov is using after three years.they are good and bad points. but if and i don't think it would happen a mass deportation occurred then we would crumble.............oh_hell
