Nine pounds a month for the next 5 months. Possible, but it is going to take some work.
What you need to do is create a calorie deficit fo 1,000 calories per day, either by eating less, working out more, or (best option) a combination of the two. There are 3,500 calories in a pound, so 7,000 caloires a week would be a 2 pound drop. Figure out what you are eating per day now, how much intentional exercise you are getting, and then figure out how much less you can eat and how much more you are willing to work out.
As for when to work out, that really depends on you. Many people like to work out first thing in the morning (you can work out for longer periods of time when your body is not fully awake), but if you are not a morning person and consistantly sleep through your workout, then an afternoon session would be best for you. As long as you find a consistant time to devote to exercise, that is the best time. 7 to 8 hours of sleep is necessary, too.
You can eat almost anything in moderation, but calorie content is the key. You can have that triple chocolate fudge explosion, but you might not be able to eat anything else that day. Make sure that you are eating at least 1,200 calories per day - it might need to be more if you are exercising for 7 hours per week.
The weight will come off easier at the beginning. Those last 10 pounds are the hardest, so if you start losing momentum around April, that's why.
Good luck. I posted a link to the free diet site that I used to lose 20 pounds in 4 months last year. There are tons of resources on the internet, just make sure you are looking at reputable sites.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.
All the questions asked by u specifically will become redundant if u follow the above regime when ur brain will take full control of ur needs and automate ur weight reduction.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow.
