Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

God is from what we understand as the beginning that is the best explanation our mortal, finite minds can comprehend, when Jesus returns and we are changed and we are taken to heaven to live with him our minds will be opened to the reality of God and we will understand much more than we do now. Because of sin we are separated from God and thus we will never understand somethings as we are only when Jesus returns we will get all the answers we seek to the hard questions like that. All I can say is believe that he is the Alpha and the Omega and worship him.
