I have been seeing this guy for almost 3 months. I knew going into this I didn't want to introduce my girls to him right away but how long of a wait is really appropriatte?? Also which is the best way to introduce them??

I don't know how old your children are, but I am sure that they know you have been going out or seeing someone. 3 months is a decision only you can make. I am thinking that he knows you have children. Have you asked him if he would like to meet them? The more time you invest in the relationship before they meet him, the less time they will have to adjust when things are serious, if they get serious. You are right to be cautious waiting, there are some real pervs out there. I know I married one.

as long as you are very serious about him the other thing is how old are they
im sure he knows
this is what i did i took my son out to lunch he is 13 and we talked about it i told him that i found someone who treats me like a queen and that i really like i told him he does not treat me like my ex his dad and that he wants to meet him
i told him that after almost 8 yrs it was my time ( his dad found a g/f right after we got the divorce finallized over 6 yrs ago)
i also told him i wanted his input
my opinion is we are a package deal is both of us or none..
2 days later we made a date for all of us to go out do dinner and we sat down and talked
then we had lunch again and he told me what he though
i know some ppl think who cares what your kids think its your life you are the grown up but if it is serious and he is going to become a part of their lives too then they need a say

Ummm... does he know you have kids? cause 3 months is kind of a long time.... you should do it as long as possible.. thats really selfish of you by the way

Are you really serious about this relationship? Is he someone who is really serious about you? Be very careful about the messages you are sending to your kids.
