Sorry, but why would you want to fly to London from Birmingham?

The Virgin train takes 1 1/2 hours centre to centre, whereas you'd have to travel out to the airport, check in, go through security, then take the flight. Unless you go to the City Airport, you're then stuck with a long journey into the centre of London.

All that's going to take well over 3 hours...

I don't think you can fly from Birmingham to London, strange I know.
