Since women get all the fun hair styles, why shouldn't guys get to enjoy some of it, too? Men are getting color and texture services more and more, so would it be okay to try a feminine styles as well? My hair is actually shoulder length, thick, and a medium blonde shade. I am in need of a big change and would like to try something with a bit more style.

You don't need to get a woman's cut so to speak..... I am a hair stylist at a high end salon, and we see more and more men ditching their barber to come in for more stylist precision scissor cuts. We even have many style books that cater to men, and new and edgy looks to give men ideas. I reccommend you go to a reputable salon near you, and you will be gladly welcomed. I find myself doing a lot more layers and razor cutting on men with longer hair. Men have even been getting more color, and subtle highlights. Believe me...I love my men clients, after being surrounded in women all day long, and a high end salon will have the solution, ideas, and welcome you without a second thought, as this is becoming so common in the industry....

Why not? dressing like a woman do not means being neither gay nor drag queens.those respectable people also has their own look. You probably like women in the beauty sense because we, women are the most beautiful human being !! And so you are in love with the women's style and shape so much that you may even want to look like us!
Cutting your hair as you want shouldn't be any problem as long you visit open minded people and go to open minded places. Conservative people think women should only wear long hair and skirt. Do you all think so?

Yes,you can get it cut like a females.Like the same type of layering,but you don't have to wear the style in a femanine way.
