I am the exact same way. I have Hashimotos disease. I don't have to treat it yet though. Now that I've had a couple kids, I look more normal. (5 foot 6 inches, 110 lbs). But before I had kids I couldn't get my weight above 102 lbs. My aunts have the same problems and one is nice and fit and one is very heavy. I don't understand it either, your thyroid functions so ,amy things in your body. It can cause you to have a very fast matabolism which will cause you to stay thin. My doctor always told me to drink slim fast or Instant carnatio breakfast WITH my meals.

yes it is true that you gain weight with a underactive thyriod. i have had this for around 6 years now. i was starting to be over weight for quite a while. sence ive taken my meds my weight has ben up and down. i weigh now 150. use to weight 168. everyones body type is different also.soyou see . even though u are so thin. it is because of alot of factors.

weight gain is a feature of hypothyroidism (myxoedema) but not all clinical conditions show all of the possible symptoms - so you have been spared the weight gain
