If you don't have a P60 your end of march pay slip will state your taxable earnings, if not you will have to contact your old/current employers payroll for the information. Providing Actual income is a legal requirement, so your employers should help you. As Tax Credits require gross not net pay figures.

You should have been given a P60 by your employer at the end of the tax year. Check with them to see if you can have a copy.

Your 05-06 tax year should be on a P60 you recieved last april. If it is for tax credit purposes you can provide them with a close eximate and they will then check it with your tax record and re-calculate if necessary. Sometimes your payslip will have your taxable pay to date on it which they have accepted off me in the past.
Good luck.
