on the zune itself but it wont sync anything? any body else having this problem, any ways it can be resolved? if I click start sync it either says preparing to sync/syncronising on software screen and doesn't go any further than that, but still only says connected on the zune

it also comes up with a msg along the lines of 'cancelling initial inspection of files' at some point

any help would be more than appreciated as its really starting to p*ss me off!!

This only happened to me once. So it's not often. I just simply waited, restarted the computer, and kept repluggin it in, then it worked. I only remembered doing this once, so don't think it's bad. Or it could have possibly came from installing the software, so you could try redoing that again. Good luck.

I feel u buddy im having the same problem with my zune that i bought about a week ago i thought it was gonna be easy but i would uninstall the program and install it again maybe something went wrong during the installation

I would guess it's the Microsoft built in 'Digital Rights Management' software (I expect it has found something about your system it doesn't like - for example some tracks in MP3 format that Microsoft has decided are 'pirated')
