Only any money you claim to help with child minding costs will be affected. If you place your children with another child minder you will need to advise the revenue if the costs change (up or down.) If her license has been suspended check with the local council how they view these suspensions. She should also know whether she has permission to continue working whilst under investigation. Any doubt take your children elsewhere until it is resolved.

No, a childminder has to be registered with Ofsted for you to claim child tax credits. Phone them to explain the situation as she was registered but is under investigation (i.e. the suspension could be very temporary) the may make an exception - but the norm is or them to be registered.

Find out how long the investigation will take - possibly consider a change of childcare - even if only temporary.

Possibly not. A childminder has to be licensed for you to get tax credits and if they are suspended then they aren't really licenced. Try to find another childminder.

You will still get CTC for your kids but you won't be entitled to the childcare element, so your payments will reduce. Make sure you let Inland Revenue know or you will end up owing them money.

they have to go to another childminder if yours has had licence suspended anyway so that should solve any problem.

No, she will be childminding illegally if she continues to have your children. Her insurance will not be valid.

i don't think they will, after all you'll be receiving less money so they should increase the payments, not decrease. so if you are not earning at the moment you should contact them as you will be entitled to more.
