If you are coming from mainland Europe countries (as far as I know except for Italy) you will be fine to use all your electrical appliances in Turkey.

If you are coming from US or UK you need an adapter. I would recommend to buy it in your home country because they are not very common in Turkey.

When buying, remember that anything that works for France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain .... works for Turkey.

Hello,

Turkey operates on 220 volts with round-prong European-style plugs that fit into recessed wall sockets/points in all cities. Also some Four and five-star hotels often provide North American-style 120 volts, 60 Hz flush-mounted sockets (points) for North American flat-prong plugs.

220vlts is standard for Europe incluiding Turkey. In the USA it's 110. anycase you can buy adapters and they are cheap and a good investmet!

220 volts you just need adaptors to use uk plugs.I am sure of this as I live in Turkey
