Try showing how mirrors and magnification can boil water to be used for power generation. This gives you the chance to show some engineering by calculating how much the mirrors would have to move over the day, the optimal number and angle for the mirrors, the length at which to focus all the light you've gathered, etc. You can also make a small working prototype with just a magnifying glass and a few small mirrors. If you do it right you can take it outside, set it in direct sunlight, and boil a cup of water! I'll leave the engineering to you. Good luck.

You can use solar energy in two forms, either directly as a heat source for water heating, cooking, drying etc., though some sort of cookers & heaters are already in the market & in the other way as converted to electricity through solar cells. This used to be a costly affair since still they are not easily available in India.

Convertion from solar to electric power is easy through cells & then if u want to use it in the night, you will have to store it in a DC battery & use converter to get it changed in to AC power & use lamps, PC, Fan etc.

Why don't you try some automation of direct solar cooker using concave reflector & pointing it to one fixed location, it will serve as a high temperature point, may be used for cooking( good enough to burn). It should have aprogrammed mechanism to keep the focal point fixed & moving the reflecor as per the movement of Sun.

You could try incorporating solar with renewable resources, and depicting something like powering a model home with solar energy that charges rechargeable battery in the day or when solar energy is present and when solar energy is not present ....the house will be powered with rechargeble battery that charged in the day.........

you should do a 4-H challenge. operating example, elevating pups to be handbook canines takes about a 12 months, and also you should communicate about how a lot the domestic dog eats because it grows up, what percentage practise sessions it takes to coach it, and how its habit variations through the years.
