What do you mean by put finger on?
I guess alot of people are swept up in the way that the Koran/Quran or whatever it is called says:
Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme - 8:39
found this on a website when I was doing some research on this a few years ago and I assume it it from the Koran as the author said it was and basically comments like that sound to be of an extremist nature although there may possibly be quotes from the bibles to the same effect..im not sure... Not sure who you are reffering to as other religions but to call say the modern christian religion extremist when compared with modern islam may need more consideration. I do agree with "sen b" comment in that that is how all religious people should act but does the Quran teach the respect of other faiths? This is so different to what I found when doing some research.
My advice, don't be so obsessed with religion vs religion like so many are these days; im sick of it

You are correct. I'm a Muslim and i never feel the need to try and put down another persons religion. That's because i am secure in my own, and feel others are free to believe what they like. It makes no difference to my faith how many others are Christians, Jews, Hindu's or atheists, none what so ever. Why should I bash there choices or tell them they are wrong.
I practice what i preach. And the Quran says to respect other faiths so i do. If others feel the need to attack my faith i feel its only a reflection on them not me.

Common people, let them do waht they want. I find the christians are the most worst insulter in this questions and answer. It seems that the Jews are more freindlier than Christians are in this Yahoo Answer Religion and spirituality section. Well, it is because the Christians are trained to hate us by their Evangelicals authors and book publisher and not to forget, Pastors such as Pat Robertson and Ted Haggard who I find is such a bigot.
To the person who said the sialmic prophecy is false , that's bullshit. The prophecy about Iraq being occupied is true. The prophecy about Arab bedouin one day will build sky-scrapper is true, it is happening right now in Dubai.

because you have no reason to 'put finger' on other religions because you know there is more false prophecy in your religion

Izlom does not recognize God as a loving father , nor do they accept all men as brothers. They do not qualify as a real religion.
