If you have a Weber braai, make a charcoal braai in the two side enclosures and put a drip tray in the middle. When the charcoals are ready put your whole chicken (cleaned and salted) in the middle and put the lid on. Leave your chicken in the Weber for 1½-2 hours, depending on the size.
If you don't have a Weber I would recommend spatchcocking your chicken (see the link below on how to spatchcock) to ensure that it gets cooked through. Braai for 1-1½ hours.

Depends on the size of the chicken. If it's just chicken pieces, legs, thighs etc then an hour should be enough. If it's the breast meat then about 1 hour - 1 1/2 hrs should be enough.
If it's a whole chicken about 1-1 1/2 hours should be enough. Test it on a whole chicken if the juices run clear then it's done.

For any bird, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees on the farenheit scale. Buy a meat thermometer and read the instructions on how to use it.

you have to barbeque it right.....? and you have to put a chicken on it and put a souce and it is done and you can eat it now have a nice eat of chicken.......!
