He seems to stuff his face? Are you splitting his daily ration into 2-3 feedings? If you give him his days worth of food all at once it is too much. It is also dangerous. Over stuffing can lead to bloat (life threatening) especially in deep chested dogs. When my dog eats we have to withhold his water for about 15-20 minutes. If he eats then drinks right away he burps and some of his food comes up. Maybe this is what's happening? What are you feeding him? Poor quality foods can cause many problems. Our pets need quality pet food. Read the ingredients list and learn what the stuff on there is and what it does (or does not do) to/for our pets. A quick pet food 101. If the pet food contains corn/corn products or by products it is a poor quality food. Do not pay attention to advertising, they all say there food is great. Corn is a filler that can trigger skin problems. (allergies, skin problems, itching and excessive shedding) By products is anything from an animal not fit for human consumption, including cancerous tissue. Quality foods have meat as the first ingredient. California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova and Merrick are a few of the best brands available. The most common thing I can think of is that your dog is eating too fast. When he's eating fast, he gets air bubbles in his stomach and that makes him purge. If you just got your dog, then that's normal and he'll pipe down after a while, but if it's been a long time since you got him, you might want to separate his food portions. For example, you could give him five or six small meals a day instead of 3 or 2 big meals. Then, you can gradually get back to his normal feeding schedule. It should work.

Firstly, make sure that you are not giving him his entire food in one sitting. Seperate into two or thrree feedings.
If you have already done that, and he still is getting sick right after eating, I would suggest putting something within his dish that makes him slow down. He probably is eating too fast. Sometimes dogs will do this when they don't know when they are going to get their next meal, so make sure to feed him on a regular schedule. Dogs like consistency!!
In the bowl, yuo could try to put a ball, or something that he would have trouble getting out of the way to get to the food. This will cause him to slow down.
Another way to get him to slow down, is by feedng him in a toy, fox example, a Kong. If you fill the kong with his food, then seal it with peanut butter or some other soft treat, he has to WORK to get the food, causing him to slow down.
Make sure that you are not changing his food either. If you HAVE to change his food, make sure to do so gradully. If you are feeding him one cup of food, gradualy would be 1/4 cup new food, 3/4 old food, for three days. 1/2 cup new food, 1/2 cup old foord, for three days 3/4 cup new food, 1/4 cup old food, three days. If at any point you find that he is getting sick more, or that his stools are loose, make the three days longer.

İt's in a dog's nature to throw up because when they were born on the first five days the mother feeds the puppy's with what she eats and then throws up. That's because the puppies don't have a digestion system. İ think you give him excessive food . Try decreasing it a little. İ think he should stop doing it when he is about 1,5 years old.

If your vet made no suggestions for you, then you need a new vet. Just because they have the degree doesnt mean that they are good. There are some bad vets out there.

When a dog guts his food done, its up to you to control it. (my dog did this too) lnstead of 2 or 3 meals a day, you portion it out to bits of food more often.
example...small amount in the morning, then small amount mid morning, then small amount at lunch, mid afternoon and finally dinner. The dog will then be able to digest the food and the food will settle in the tummy.

get a second opinion, because if you dog is barfing after every meal yes there is something wrong. if your gut is telling you that your vet is wrong, then it is usually correct.
