should the two mix? is it ok to pay £20million a year for chaplains in hospital, or to give special care because of religious tendencies?

Some religious group...also wants the circumcision on the NHS ( i think some hospitals do it already).
and yes...it does cost that much to the NHS to keep chaplains in hospitals!

Having chaplains is totally unfair - what if you believe in the all powerful spaghetti monster? Will the chaplain be able to help with that?
While I understand that people might need comfort while they are dying, I reckon that £2O million could probably be better spent by a struggling NHS, than on a paying people to pretent God's exist. For example they could employ hypnotherapists to help people deal with the pain that drugs can't touch.

I think the proposals you're thinking of were:
That doctors should be more aware of which medicines may contain ingredients which would contravene Muslim dietary requirements and,
The possible problems that Muslims taking medicine may face during periods of fasting.
So they were health related.
I personally support some of this. As a vegetarian I wouldn't want to take capsules made from animal gelatine since I exclude this in my diet from choice. So I can understand why Muslims don't want pork gelatine in their medication.

The NHS should only pay for treatment that is medically required, circumcision where there is no medical reason is nothing short of abuse and shouls be made a criminal offense.

ok. first and preferable i do not imagine you should tar ALL muslims with the same brush. secondly, are they for freaking genuine?! many drugs contain alcohol for in reality medicinal causes! its not like it receives you less than the impact of alcohol! and besides, they are in reality visitors in our usa, as i should be if i went to india or pakistaan or any jap usa- i does not roll up and commence stressful all of them eat fish on fridays in hospitals and what-not, its called respect. its also disgusting that no individual dares offend the muslims, yet christianity is insulted each day. you may not offend any faith. again, respect. and its also incorrect that many human beings imagine racism in effortless words works one way, ie whites being racist to blacks and asians. not genuine, we've 'honky' and 'cracka' and the asian 'gori' i imagine those are in simple terms as offensive as 'n!gg3r' or 'paki' yet for sure my perspectives are literally not shared by technique of many, the actual undeniable reality that they use so called 'efficient' discrimination interior the police pressure is an social gathering (ie giving ethnic minorities precedence over whites.) actually the job could visit the suitable qualified individual, regardless of race? if i had an coincidence and had visit health center and the suitable usual practitioner in simple terms got here about to be asian, i does not kick up a fuss! why could or not that is any diverse everywhere else for the different race? thirdly, a large number of muslims do not believe this cutting-edge difficulty of a minority of muslims exploiting computer-gentle center england to get their own way. One muslim lady wrote to ***** in metro about the computer brigade attempting to prohibit christmas interior the workplace, declaring she hasn't ever frequently happening a muslim offended by technique of it and this undesirable representation by technique of center type do gooders replaced into both uneccessary and generating sick-feeling in direction of muslims. i imagine her voice represented many.

Sound wrong to me, if they want medical treatment OK but if it requires a Chaplin, then why can't their local church provide one?
