Leaving it be with no lotion actually helps it heal faster, but if it gets itchy then use Aquapohore. It's great stuff. You get it in the baby diaper section.

Don't pick the scabs - if you pull them off prematurely, the colour will go.
Keep it moisturised with antibiotic cream, or haemmorhoid cream (seriously!), but not anything that contains lanolin, as that draws colour out.
It should heal completely in another fortnight - but because the skin on the wrist is delicate, it might remain raised for even a few more years!

I think it is normal, it's what happened when i had my tattoo. I used a moisturiser cream on mine for a couple of weeks - once the scab comes off it will be fine, i hope you like the bow!!

Yes it is normal. Keep using whatever cream you have been using on it to heal it. in the end the dry layer will come off. Ive had it with all 5 of my tattoos. the colour also comes up a bit brighter after that top layer has come off.

Yes. Dont pick or scratch at it or it might ruin the tattoo. Its completely normal for it to be dry and have a scab. The best thing to put on the tattoo is an unscented gentle lotion, gently pat the lotion on, dont rub it!

hi im jon a tattooist from rotherham, the best thing to do at this stage is to be careful with it being on ur wrist not to catch it when u put ur hands in ur pockets and things.dont put any form of moisturiser such as e45 on it as this will draw the ink out.savlon is the best thing but only a small amount.the worst thing u can do with any tattoo is to soak it in the bath or shower 4 too long.hope everything goes well x

Completely normal. Resist urge to scratch or pick or itch any scabs. If you do pick at it, then it may well need colour re-doing. Trying putting a moisturiser on it.

I think u dont wet it for two weeks not even swimming go to the chemist or pharmacy and buy a Bepanthem cream and apply on it.Don't let it dry out.If you're worried go back to the Tattoo shop and show them.

hiya, yeh this is normal, it means its healing well, try not to pick the scab as this will make the colour fade. keep it moisterised and soon the scab will fall off. it sounds very nice :0)
