My kitten, I'm guessing to be about 3-4 months old, since I just found her outside a few months ago, and so it's my best guess based on her size. Lately she has had an enlarged stomach and at first I just thought maybe she was eating too much. I have kept an eye on her poop and have seen no worms. Then for the last few days I've noticed that in the spots where she has been sleeping on my bed there have been large wet spots of at least 5x5" or so, give or take each time. They have no odor and no color that I can tell. She isn't acting sick, she's still playing and running around with my other cats, but it has me worried. I have made an appointment for next week with the vet, it's the soonest one I could get. But I'm just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else before just to maybe give me an idea of what it might be because I am really confused. And if anyone has seen it before and knows its something bad I may take her into the emergency vet. Thanks!

The spots are way too big to be druel. They're really big, like bigger than her entire body. And some times they look a bit mucasy and it's sticky. And it's not where her head was resting it's where her butt was resting.

has she had her first heat cycle yet? if she has you need to take her to an emergency vet immediately she may have pyometra look it up it is a very fatal disease to female cats and dogs it is after their heat cycle their cervix has openned and bacteria gets in, therefore, the uterus becomes swelled and infected. the only cure for this is spaying and i wouldnt wait time is of the essescence...please take her in immediately my cat almost died from this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She may have a tape worm...you don't always see those in the litter box...but you should be able to see them under her tail or anywhere she's been laying or sitting...the segments will look like pieces of dried rice...just went through this with a stray we brought indoors in November.

Also the wet spots maybe an indication that she's coming into heat.

Those are the two things that come to mind.

Good luck at the Vet....I"m sure she's fine.

The wet spots could be cat drool( while sleeping just like people).l The large stomach is a sign of parasites. There's no reason to see them in the poop if their perfectly happy in your cat's intestines. Dop you see any little things that look like tiny brown grains of rice? Usually in the morning(like your wet spots). If you do, these are tapeworm eggs(passed by flea bite by the way). It takes different meds to kill tapeworms as compared to worms. We have six cats. They call us the crazy cat people. We just arch our backs and hiss at them.....

your kitten may be pregnant! get the vet to check it out... cats do come to sexual maturity very early... if you found her outside, she may have been impregnated already.
