My brother has just started a new job which involves a lot of walking and being on his feet all day. Yesterday (his 4th day in the job) the arch on his right collapsed. He said he was in real pain but managed to get through the day.

Is there a quick fix to remedy a fallen arch? Hes terrified to losing his job as hes been out of work for such a long time

He should be Gellin'! Those gel soles for inside your shoes! And this may sound strange but take apple-cider-vinegar and soak the foot in it and then wrap the foot in a apple-cider-vineger soaked cloth over night with a plastic bag over it and a big sock over it all! Like...a bread bag would work and the big sock will hold the breadbag and cloth in place. The breadbag will hold the moister in so the cloth won't dry out or get all over the sheets! Just a temp. fix until he can see a doctor because he WILL need one!

i had fallen arches when i about 12 years old and was told not a lot could be done but to wear shoes with solid arches or stick a sock in your trainers to support the arch .it will get better soon but be patient.
