No. Love is something everyone needs. There are many instances where love comes along, he/she catches it and everything goes smooth. But there are many instances where there are so many hardships both partners have to go through, but finally when the hardships are over, the love is there and remains forever. There are also many instances where one loves deeply, then the hurt and pain come and takes the bliss away, but one always must have the courage and strength to pick the pieces, move on, and will love again. I guess it depends, if you don't have the strength or guts, then you're better off without love, but there will always be moments of loneliness and unhappiness. But then again, if you REALLY love someone, you would do ANYTHING for him/her... so u might just change your mind about being better off without love.

Thats a good question - but I think theres pros and cons for love.
Pro - theres nothing better than that warm feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you see your loved one - the anticipation - the excitement - butterflies when ye touch - the feeling of want and adoration is irreplacable.
Con - love hurts!!! The pain and emptiness you feel when you loose it - the bitter sweet taste it leaves behind.
Basically - although love DOES hurt - I think to never experience it would be a very sad thing - I guess when you meet "the one" the feeling is supposed to last and hopefully hurt would be eradicated! xx

I have believed that for a long time and at the moment I am in a good relationship but I still have moments when I think it would be easier without love. It hurts so much and can make you so low but in order to get rid of the lows you need to get rid of the highs. Is it worth it?

Well, in some cases yes, but now and then the good outweighs the bad and no matter how much it hurts its still love and you cant really be without it!

I personally don't believe that real love hurts,,,,I think alot of times we think we are in love but in all reality it is merely LUST,,,,I hink when you are in real love,,,,it is an un-explainable understanding of each other,,,and their is no hassle or stress,,,you just know and understand how the other person feels,,,,I think everyone has that special someone,,,and when it is time and meant to be,,,we will find them,,,,and It will last forever,,,,I don't think everyone is better off without love,,but we are much better off without infatuation,,,,which causes alot of aggravation,,,stress,,,mis-communication,,,arguing,,,,cheating,,,,and all that other stuff that we as a whole have decided "MAKES LOVE HURT",,,,,??????

Love hurts when you meet wrong person to love but love is sweet when you meet right person. Just dont let yourself hesitate to love just because you're hurting because of love. People through hard and hurt way to find best way, right?. When you're hurt, you learn not to hurt again and finally find right person. When you meet someone loves and cares you so much and willing to sacrifice, even him/herself just for you, then you will feel that you're the luckiest person on earth that ever feel love.

nooo way... its a great pain that we grow from! c'mon half of us wouldn't be here if it weren't for love.. mummys n daddys gettin together n doing their thang out of lurv. Mind you these days.. what's love gotta do with it? people are having babies for no reason at all.. just happened to feel horny one night! no love.. just hormones flying around!

love has got 2 sides.....the1st is called ''happiness'' and the 2nd ''sadness''.....it looks as if you are in the 2nd side.....no we wouldn't be better off witout it cause we ould be only in the sadness's side and we wouldn't know the meaning of the word ''happiness''
