Firstly,8-10 hair loss in each sitting (combing) in a day is natural. If your case is more than that then it is a real problem to be worried. The reasons may vary from physical to mental. The first step is to locate the root cause in your diet or lifestyle that may be increasing the acidic nature. Once you locate it, try to give up or at least reduce the diet, habit, or activity responsible for increasing acidity.
As cleaning is very essential use a natural/herbal shampoo to clean the hair. As most shampoos have chemicals, they might be the cause of your problem. Oiling and massaging of scalp is very beneficial for stopping the hair loss. It activates the sebaceous glands and improve hair growth. You can take either Castor oil or coconut oil for that.Do you have a dandruff problem. Then, first of all, you have to take care of that. You should maintain a regular bowel movement everyday. In case of constipation, you can take a mild laxative .The diet should contain more green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits and sprouts. Take more proteins, milk, buttermilk, yeast, wheat germ, soybean and vitamin A.Biotin is also good for hair growth.you can catch them from .brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and walnuts. Continue this(or,if u already doing all these & still there is the problem) and if u see that the problem is at the same stage u should have some(hormonal/thyroxin) check ups. There may be some internal problems.

There are a few reasons that your hair could be falling out. You may need to go to the doctor and get your thyroid checked, or if you have been under alot of stress this may be another reason. You also need to consider your diet and if you are on any different medications. So my advice would be to first find the reason for the hairloss before you can find the right solution, be it a better diet, vitamins, Rogaine etc. Oh also do you use alot of chemicals in your hair, perms and hair colors?

Is it falling out or falling down? Two different answers. If it is falling out you need to look at the source...maybe get your hormones or thyroid checked. Maybe STRESS? If it is falling down and won't hold style then try this, if you are going to go o ut and need a good hair do say for Friday night, do not wash your hair that morning. Hair works best when it is dirty. I know it may be sick but it does. Use a really good hair product that is for lymp or fine hair and use a root booster. Hope it helps

I just got through answering this question but I will answer it again.
It is possible that you have a condition called hypothyroidism. And that is causing your hair to be in that condition. Believe me; it happened to me. It is an under-active thyroid condition and it can be diagnosed with a simple blood test.
I know that it probably sounds far-fetched but I'm telling you that it happened to me. I had a problem with my hair like that, and brittle hair is a symptom of this particular condition.
It is a serious condition and must be looked at. So--in case it is that (hypothyroidism), then you should have the test for your sake. I have to take this little white pill now for the rest of my life and I'm not real happy about that but I guess it is better than the alternative of going untreated. Bye!

Do you have any idea what's causing it to fall out? What's your diet like? Have you started birth control, or any new kind of birth control lately? You should maybe try looking at some factors that have changed lately, such as your diet, stress levels, etc. If things keep going on, talk to a hair stylist and if you don't get anywhere with that, you may want to see a doctor.
