For peeing yes. It saves water. Why does an entire bowl full of water need to get rid of my load of pee? Also, I wash my hands afterward with soap and make sure to splash the soapy water around - and that takes care of any odors or urine drops that might not have made it to the drain. If I am in the shower I pee in that too - for the same reasons and with the same hygiene standards.

Well when I was in college there were only public bathrooms in the dorms, only a sink in the rooms. So if I woke up in the night needing to go, I would use the sink rather than walk all the way down the hall, because if I did that, it would wake me up all the way (not to mention I would have to sort of get dressed to leave the room). And once I get awake it can take me a long time to fall back asleep, and sleep is a valuable commodity (no pun intended) in college. Since the sink was only a few feet from my bed I could get up, go and then lay back down before I ever got good and awake. I also did it if I was watching something on TV that I didn't want to miss, like a close ball game or something.

Other than that I would generally just go ahead and use the public bathroom.

Who hasn't. You just need to be drunk enough to not tell the difference between a sink and a toilet (or a closet or a shoe for that matter).

Relax people, it isn't a new idea.

The sink is to use for your daily purposes such as washing dishes and washing something else but never to use it as a toilet as it is so disgusting to do everything in the same place so man invented a thing called Toilet Bowl to do your "work".

- Hope this helps you -

Not me personally but my bf does it all the time. Especially if i'm already using the loo! Which isn't nice as the sink is right next to the loo and at head level when using the loo!

Hummer - you sound exactly like my bf, except he does it after sex and not masturbating

When we were staying in b and b when we were very young kids I remember being woken up, held over the sink and told to pee in it.

My sister went through a phase of refusing to use a toilet to be sick in - she was frightened of falling in face first.
