Is there any disadvantages of piercing your eye brow? like when you get older or whateva!

Dude, get it done. I think piercings are sooo sexy, but a lot of people I know don't. I came on here and asked people what they thought of mine and I got torn apart =(.
Anyways, I have my eyebrow, belly, and septum. Guys that are into piercings think I'm hott, people that don't like them critize me. It might happen to you too. But just follow what you want, your style. You don't want to be like everyone else.
It shouldn't leave a nasty scar btw, unless you get it ripped out or infected. Just take care of it and it will heal nicely. Mine is great and I have no scars (except when I had my lip pierced it got ripped out).
But you just have to be careful. Don't worry what the other people say because they don't know you. Listen to what you want and if you want real advice get it from people you know like your friends or family. Good luck!
Oh and to clean the eyebrow ring just use salt water and rather get it pierced with a stud instead of a ring so it wont get bothered much.

There are nerves in that part of your face and are pretty sensitive. If you sever them (not likely, but possible), that side of your face may droop a little with paralysis. This is really, really rare, but that is also why you should go to a professional piercer.

Also, because it is a surface piercing, there is always a possibility of migration/rejection. This will leave a pretty ugly scar on a visible spot on your face. If you notice it moving, I'd recommend taking it out before you end up with a bad scar.

I got it done horizontally (most people get it vertically) so the scars wouldn't be as noticeable. It worked! I had it for almost a year and took it out. Nobody has noticed the scar and even when I point it out you have to look really hard.

The worst part of any facial piercing is forgetting it is there. I roll around in my sleep a lot and found myself throbbing when I slept on my face. On the good side, this was one of the fastest healing piercings I've ever had.

at the same time as body paintings would not decrease IQ, those who get piercings and tattoos benefit this because of their low IQs. So if the question is "are those who've piercings and tattoos a lot less wise?" Then the answer is definite. some will inform you, "yo miaan. am a time-honored practitioner and a've were given tattoos, blah blah." Leaving aside the actual incontrovertible fact that medical doctors are not somewhat particular by any skill at the same time as it contains mind, a level will not be a good indicator of intense IQ. i have considered those with Ph.d levels from western international places and their stupidity and shortage of understand-how won't be able to be defined.

I had a boyfriend and he had one. One day we were wreseling and we head butted on accident. It ripped open his piercing leaving a nasty scar.
Another friend of mine was at a bar and she and another girl got in an altercation and the chick hit her right on the piercing busting it open and again like dude it left a discusting scar.
If I was in a fight it would be the first thing I'd aim for. But then I'm just cruel.

Not really ... the holes are usually small enough that if it closes up you can't really tell it was even pierced. Unless it rips out when caught on clothes, that is the only down side I've seen from people with thier eyebrow pierced.

Like most surface piercings there is a risk of rejection. This is when your body tries pushing the piercing -a foreign object- out. It can result in a scar.

It's okay if you wanna get one. But the risk are that it can get infected easily. Not everybody heals that easy after they got infected. And piercing your eyebrow kind of leaves a bad impression on those of the more old-fashioned type of people.

eyebrow piercings grow out quickly so when your older you wouldn't even know you had it pierced. the only problem is infection...be careful of that because it can make you really ill and it's never very nice to have pus on you face!

Why not pierce your eyebrow? if you like it, do it! I've got piercings (ear, eyebrow, nipple) and i'm in my 30's.

People allways bang on about shoving holes in your body, but i bet most of the people on here have their ears done! Stuff everyone else, don't ask their opinions, just do it! :)

with piercings u can take them out when ever u want not like tattoos they r there for life. just get the piercing if u want it, u can easily take it out if u change ur mind. good luck
