Buddhism does not condemn homosexuals in the same way as it does not condemn any wrongdoing. We have no right to condemn others. Our duty is to show how real happiness can be gained. We have no right to condemn those who think or act differently from us,especially when we ourselves are slaves of sensual pleasure in other forms. We know that when we point one finger at others, the other three fingers are ponting at us.

Buddhists embrace sexuality and see it as beautiful, but they do not condone abusing the gift. I lived in a Zen Buddhist monastery for a month anf there were two gay couples living there.

Yes, they do have explanation about gay. Buddhist do not discriminate any gay. They accept that gays have equal right as straights. As Buddha ideology, every human has their own best and it is difficult to say that who is better than who. Guy or straight is his or her own sexual orientation. It's their very private life. They are just the same as we are.
