When the Almighty God is One, unique and peerless, and knows about His oneness, then why in the Holy Quran he uses the plural pronoun (We) for Himself?

The use of first person plural noun (We) is the sign of greatness and magnificence of the person (entity) who is speaking and this use is most appropriate and befitting to Allah. Arabs say that the reason for the use of first person plural noun is considered as proof of greatness that great people generally are not alone. The servants, attendants and other people are always around them to fulfill their needs. That is why they always used the pronoun We and the use of this word is a metaphor for greatness.

In this respect, whereverin the words of Allah plural noun is used it reminds us about His greatness and magnificence and we start thinking about those apparent and hidden powers of the universe, which are subordinate to Him. In this way our belief in Tauheed become stronger and our attention towards the sanctified self becomes more.

I have not read the Quran, but in some books of the Bible He says (in Genesis, which I believe is told in the Quran as well) let us make Man in Our image.

The use of We and Us and Our in European cultures is called the Royal Prerogative, it speaks of the legal fiction that the King or Queen represents the entire nation and they even go so far as to say that the King IS the nation, in his own person.

One of the stupidest parts of Monarchism if you ask me.. or even if you don't ask me, I will tell you anyway.

But in some theories all of creation is just a manifestation of the Creator. We are made as a part of His very essence.

Which makes a lot of sense to me, because I never heard a more adequate way of explaining the very fabric of existence. If I read Einstein's theory right nothing could possibly exist, but apparently everything does.

Because there was more than one;

The 'pluralis majestatis' (Royal We, as we calll it now) concept is a MODERN one and was not applied when the Quran was written; same thing goes for the Bible where the plural is used too.

The concept of the Holy Trinity is a post-Jesus concept, made up at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325( much later than when the Bible was written); so IT'S NOT THE REASON WHY.

Sumerian tablets speak of 'many' Annunaki who came down to Earth; only ONE of them was the 'creator' of the Adam though, His name was Enki and was the one who also saved mankind from the deluge that HIS half-brother Enlil sent to get rid of mankind.

The Monotheistic vision came up as a means to unite the different Hebrew tribes that were captive in Babylon, and it's precisely in that period that the first Books of the Bible were written.

The Bible has never been an original book; and it's not an 'inspired' book either; it's just a collection of ancient Sumerian stories speaking of Cosmogony and Creation (written much much earlier, arpund 6000 BC), re-adapted to the new Monotheistic asset.

For instance:

The Seven days count; it doesn't stem from the Bible, it stems from Sumerian texts instead: after splashing down on Earth, Enki and his 50 heroes, worked for 6 days, setting up an encampment, dividing the waters (rain waters from land waters), bulding up their new abodes, classifying plants, and living creautes, and finally, when all was done, Enki proclaimed the 7th day as the day of rest.

The Deluge; the original story is Sumerian, the hero (who then became known as Noah) was Ziusudra; he was one of Enki's sons born to a 'human' mother; when Enlil decided to get rid of mankind, Enki (the Creator) decided to save his son and the rest of the living species.

The 40 days fasting: that's the fasting period Enki commanded to the Master Scribe Endubsar and during which he should have written down his words.

These are just a few instances, proving how both the Bible and the Koran are based on much more ancients texts writing the original true story. Wanna know more about those texts? Read the Enuma Elish and the Words of Lord Enki;)

There has never been any God; there was just a far more advanced civilization that came down to Earth some 435.000 years ago. Oh, by the way, tha also explains the missing link;)

Peace.

P.S. 'Ali', you have a beautiful name, I love it. And, by virtue of your name and its meaning, I respect your view and Faith 100%. You have your opinion, I have mine, but that doesn't make us enemies.

Now now. Take some time and study with an open mind.
Read all of the books of the one god. All of them.
The stories of Adam and Cain, Seth and Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The one god was never the "Trinity" that was a belief of Constantine who started the Catholic church
If you study as I have all of the books of the one god you will find three truths, one being that he spoke in the plural because he was duality.
God sent Satan to mess with man. God knew his children would fail him when he created them. God (Yahweh) Walked from his people.

Moses tried to save the Israelites and did so through the aid and grace of god.
Jesus saved the Children of Man.
Muhammed was taught by Kor'n Brother of Bael
If you study all of the scriptures. The entirety teaches that God Was not sending another Prophet to be slain by man. He had given the last son of god to the children of man. That son was Jesus. He warned there would be no more until the day of judgment.
The days of sacrifice and prayer ended on the cross. The days of Yahweh hearing Man, ended that day on the cross.

"And so it was that Yahweh found shame in what he had done. His eyes cast to Gabriel and Micheal and Uriel and he spoke in sorrow. 'we can not'. Walk he did then, from man, and man was alone. Gabriel spoke "My Master? We walk from what you have done. I cry for your sorrow" Yahweh spoke "Watch them O' loved Gabriel and Micheal, watch them for a time. Come Uriel and let us away"
Bael saw this and felt this for he too at one time was in Yahweh's heart and he did smile. Looked he to Kor'n his most trusted brother and laughter broke from him. "We know now our task. Let us complete it"
I wont bore you with the rest of the text. But it is not good.

Trinity Schminity. God is being referred to in the 'Royal' we. Adonai eloheinu, Adonai echad. Echad means ONE in Hebrew, not a conglomeration of 3 into one. I speak Hebrew, you do not. Echad will always mean ONE. Singular.

hey Marshall...nice theory. but were you there when our prophet speaks the word of ALLAH?

it seems like you had been travelling back in time to witness it...every gory detail...tsk, tsk, tsk...

it is written, that ALLAH encompasses everything.

the plural WE...when read in ENGLISH...is indeed PLURAL.

but when you read ARABIC...the rules for english grammar do not apply.

for ALLAH owns everything...even ENGLISH LANGUAGE...

get it?

Only the Q'uran addresses allah as WE.

God is ONE. If there's a WE, that means there are MANY spirits. The q'uran has many names for their allah, one of which is Raman.

The thing is, when a demon possessed man is made to speak, the person often speaks in different voices. In the bible, the demon possessed man answered "I am a legion(many spirits)".

One of the typical characteristics of demonic possession is frenzy and pain, suicidal thoughts etc, plus of course this of many spirits' names and addressing as WE.

All these symptoms point to the fact that muhammad(pbuh) was demon possessed.
