Ask your wine salesman! Or, go to a wine and cheese shop to do some tastin' and learnin'.
The San Francisco Chronicle runs a Wine section every week. They do an article on a special cheese each time. Archived at www.SFGate.com.
Enjoy! (I like Stilton and Cabernet)

I would say it depends on the wine more than the cheese. I am not a perfectionist at alcohol, but I do love it. It's all about balancing flavors. It''s the same thing with cooking.
