Probably the best statement I have heard in regards to this question, is that if you are for the additional troops then you must be for attempting to finish the job. If you are against the additional troops, then you must be for the full withdrawal. Staying on the current course will end ONLY in failure.

With that in mind, I must say that although I personally feel we should never have gone into Iraq in the first place, as Americans we must recognize that to pull out now would end with negative political repurcussions for which the US must face. Due to George Bush's poor judgement which caused us to go to war in the first place, we have no choice but to try to turn this into a (I cannot say winning situation) less consequencial outcome. It is with this idea that I must support the increase in troops.

he has a plan Wat's the libs plan cut and run redeploy and retreat with disgrace...the only thing that would do is show how week we are and the libs would blame bush for all of the defeat and he is at least making an attempt to fix it.

As many as it takes to put the terrorists out of business for good. We owe that to our children.

Dropping the ball on this one is unforgiveable.
