Persians have smushed in faces, as if they'd run into a wall. Lots of cats have long hair, purebreds and mutts alike. This link has a pretty good study of a Persian's face, or at least how a well bred Persian should look.

Pure white cats are not uncommon at all, although a solid white cat with two blue eyes is usually deaf. Actually I think they are always deaf but can't remember for sure now if it's 100%.

Do a web search for Persian cats and compare the pictures to your cat.A lot of cats have long fur, though.I've got four long-haired cats and none of them are Persians;just ordinary cats.As for white cats,no,they aren't rare.I've got one sitting beside me right now,and he's white as snow, with blue eyes, and he's deaf.

No you can go to an animal shelter and find a white cat anytime, they do happen to be my fav kind of cat though they are so pretty it might be hard to find a white kitten but not really that hard, only because alot of people like them.

White cats are every where! Long hair does not make a Persian.

Use your spell check please! :)
