Pains of this nature that go beyond a few hours need medical investigation. You don;t mention whether you are or have been constipated.
Sometimes these problems are due to impacted faeces. The treatment for this can be unpleasant if it blocks right doewn to the rectum. The general approach if not is to hydrate yourself so that the faeces can eventually poass down the colon and be expelled.
It still would be a good idea to consult your doctor or vist the local hospital. They will get you to dwallow a radio active dye and be able to determine the true cause.

I'm not a doctor or anything but have history with some abdominal issues. I will suggest though to drink lots of water. It might just be gas or you may be constipated. Make sure you have plenty of fiber in your diet...fruits and veggies and such. Hope you feel better soon!

since there is nothing in your lower left abdomen that could be in trouble what you probably have is wind. This can be extremely painfuil sometimes . Change your diet as some vegetables can have catastrophic effects on some tummies.

I have the same sort of thing, it could be something your eating, me i'm intolerant to dairy, that makes me bloat and gives me cramps you could try a heat pack or something to ease the pain. go see a doctor if it doesn't let up at least that will ease your mind.
