The Iraqi government troops invaded the consulate, not US troops. 5 Iranians were taken prisoner by Iraqi soldiers. Bush did make a statement though in his speech that kind of makes it seem like he wants to extend the war to Iran and Syria. He said the US and Iraqi troops will cut off any activity that continues to lead to the disruption of the al-Malaki government's goals to bring "peace" to Iraq. I don't know if Bush is mad, but I know the American people are! Latest poll: only 29% approve of his Iraqi policy.
