Yes a 22" rim with the correct bolt pattern/offset and even tire will fit your Magnum. I looked into it when I had my 05 Dodge Magnum RT AWD.

However, you will have to ensure you have the correct bolt pattern
5x115mm or if you want 5x114.3mm will also fit but not as good as the 5x115. Also, if you have the RWD version then you will have to have close to a +20mm offset. If you have a AWD version you will have to have a offset between +42mm to +55mm to fit within your fender. The 18" stock rims for AWD come with a +55mm offset.

The tires you can fit on 22"
265/30R22
The tires you can fit on 20"
245/45R20

I actually went with a set of 20's on my AWD as 22's would reduce my ride quality, harsher because of the reduce sidewall with the lower profile tires. As well, if you hit a bump or pot hole you have a very good chance of damaging that rim vs. a 20" rim. Also, going with a 22" you may have to upgrade your brake pads and calipers to help you stop quicker depending on the weight of your rim & tire combo you get.

I found the 20's that I had on my AWD and even my stock 20's on my SRT8 are just perfect for ride quality and have not had any issues with cracked rims or the dreaded curb rashes!.

Good luck with your decision.

Best way to find out is, drive up to the front door of a dodge dealership, ask a serviceman/woman to come out, and ask that very question in front of the car.

They more then anyone else will have a definitive answer about it, and there will not be any second guessing.

cheers.

depends on the offset, width, bolt pattern and spacers used. basically saying 22" rim means nothing.
