For those who think it is... why? Whats the point of being in love, if you lose the person you love?

Each time you love someone, you learn. About yourself, about life, and about how people interract. It hurts, for sure, but it also makes you stronger, and eventually wiser after a fashion, if you're prepared to let it.
I'm in my third relationship. I know what I like, what I'll tolerate and what I'll compromise on - and what I won't. Its not perfect by any stretch of the imagination (in fact, its downright rocky sometimes!), but I know even if it doesn't work, I will have gained in ways that aren't apparent yet.
If I never loved, I would never know so much about the world. Love requires you to trust and to care, to make yourself vulnerable like nothing else. It tests your strength, and thereby makes you stronger.
Always better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all!

I would say yes it is.
Being loved make you feel to be a good person, you feel happy and that you have the power to make others happy too.
Ofcourse, some love never works out, but at least you see the meaning of life.
So I'd rather have loved and lost.

I were have to choose between to have loved and lost VS none in my life. Definitely, I would choose the first one. As my life would neve be complete if I have had no love at all.
This believe also applies to the ladies, we all want to have love and being loved. Either it would end up to be a sad love this is immaterial. At least we have experienced the true meaning of LOVE.

you dont put your arm into a fire because it hurts when you do. you dont need to do this because im sure you have experience where youve been near fire. if you think about it, the things you know best you learned from first hand experience. things you like, things you dont like. youve experienced the joy that comes with love and know you to make the next go around even better.
