What are you thinking about when you do it? If it is not your husband, if it some other man, even a made up man in your mind, that is adultery, and adultery is a sin.
Jesus said, if you even look at another with lust in your heart, you've committed adultery.

As it says-'one who emits semen in vain is as if he has blood on his hands'. Masturbation, because you are wasting semen is likened to murder. Every time a person wastes his semen, he is getting rid of what are supposed to be babies! Does my answer make sense to you? Be well!
