So I was just brushing my teeth and I go for a rinse and the tooth brush is all red! Ew! And then I look in the mirror and the gumlines of my bottom three front teeth are bleeding! I rinsed my mouth out and it was fine but it started bleeding again just when I brushed those teeth.

So what's wrong? I remember my aunt saying years ago that bleeding gums are normal...but I also heard it could be some kind of disease. What should I do??

Like my teeth are white and all, just look at my pic...I see healthy teeth cause theyre white, but bleeding cant be good.

Pretty scary huh? Beg pardon but your auntie is full of it.
You need to start flossing, pronto! What's happening is there are food particles trapped between your teeth and gums that are rotting and killing off the surrounding gum tissue causing the bleeding. Gingivitis has begun to set in. Cause of bad breath too. White teeth are good and all but your gums are what's holding them in place. In addition to using tooth paste try a solution of warm water mixed with a little hydrogen peroxide and rinse thoroughly between the teeth and gums. Do that twice a day until the foul bacteria is killed off and the bleeding subsides. From then on floss every day preferably before you go to sleep. Just be gentle when you do. Then brush when you get up first thing in the morning. Get in the habit and you won't have any more problems.

Its gum disease, I used to have a severe case of it. You should really go to the dentist as it will swell and spread all over you gums. The gumms may receed after regular flossing (prefer mint waxed as it gives a bit of a minty breath smell and waxed because its easy to slide in.).
Well if ur going to the dentist, she/he will insert a neddle like instriment into the gum line to remove plaque?(yellow stuff that sticks on the teeth near the gumline) and also remove tartar (balckor grey stony stuff that sicks under your gumline, it might be visible in some cases). Then you have to visit the dentist again for a deeper cleaning, which is exactly the same but a little bit deepper into the gums. It might hurt a bit more than the first time cleaning.or
By the way a doctor that is specialized in that is called a hygienist.
Hope this helps

If you brush your teeth often enough (like daily), I don't think it would be gingivitis. I had gingivitis when I was about 14. Did you change toothbrushes lately? It could be that -- a stiff toothbrush can cut the gums up. Maybe a pizza burn (or a coffee burn, or whatever) can make you more likely to bleed. If you keep having this problem, you should see a dentist. Good luck!

Probably nothing to be worried about. If you brush regularly, yet continue to bleed when you brush for longer than a week or 2, or if there is any tooth/gum pain, go see a dentist.

You could have gingivitis, or maybe you are brushing too hard. Switch to a medium soft head.

Gum disease girl. floss everyday and go gently while you floss because going rough can hurt your gums more then helping it. then go to this website http://www.indiaabundance.com/frontend/products/Vicco_Sugar_Free_ToothPaste-3X100gm_VICCO-SF.asp

and buy the vicco sugar free toothpaste. Girl believe me if you want to be gum disease free and no bleeding, then buy this paste.
