What if the God everyone worships is not really the God but it is actually satan? How are we to know that Satan didn't bring religions? Isn't it possible that Satan brought all these diffrent religions in this world to make murdorers out of people and have people killing eachother? Do you all blindly folow these religions and so called words of God and seperate yourselves from the true God? No one can say that religions are good.... if you say such a thing you are blind to the reality and you are very ignorant... how many people should die for us to understand that God never brought religions? (After all Satan is here to mislead us till we die... am I wrong???)

"cannot be..............
since satan overturns good with evil.."
Doesn't religion tells you that? How do you know that is not what satan wants you to think like?

Satan means "accusor"?
Where did you learn that? was it not in religions? couldn't that also be a strategy to make us believe that satan couldn't have had brought the religions?

I've wondered this myself. The biggest problem that I have with religion is the insistence on worship. Why would God need you to worship him? Sounds more like something an evil being would have his subjects do, not a just and righteous being. And religion sounds just like the sort of thing that an evil being would come up with. Trick the people with words of wisdom that they know are true and just, then throw a curve ball at them with sins that make no sense. And to make sure they follow, add the punishment of eternal damnation to scare it into them.

Is Satan here to mislead us? Yes.
Does Satan want people of different religions to hate and kill eachother? Yes.
Satan is an imposter who sometimes will pose as God or an angel or someone benevolent in order to misleed people. Yes it is very possible people could think they are hearing from God when it"s really Satans voice. That is all very true.
But to say that Satan is the creator of religions is not the case. For example, we are told that the love of money is the root of all evil. Does that mean Satan created money? No. Is money , by it's very nature a bad thing? No. The same goes for religion. There are Many Christians, Catholics, Muslums, Jews, and others who find comfort in what they believe and thay are not hateful or violent. Some churches and religious groups do many good works, like feeding the poor and homeless. All religions are not bad by their very nature.
What Satan does is to take that which is good and twist it until it becomes bad. The soluution is not to eliminate that which Satan has twisted but to untwist it so it will become what God intended it to be.
One way to do this is to never BLINDLY follow anything or anybody but to question our leaders weather they be priests, rabbis, any other religious leaders, and yes, our leaders in Washington as well. We are all vunerabal when it comes to the tricks of Satan and so are those we follow. So how do we know if it's Satan or God? Look for these fruits: Love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentelness, self-control.
The things of Satan are all the opposite and lead us to distruction. There is good and bad in all religions. Religion isn't to blame. Satan tricks non-religious people too, only in different ways. He wants us all to blame and hate each-other. The best way to defeat him is to love one another.

Actually the name Satan mean "accuser" . Satan's original name was Lucifer however that name was changed after he was cast from heaven.
To answer your question. No. It isn't possible because the name Satan didn't exist (or rather was unknown to man) until it was revealed to man by the God man worshiped.
So far as religion is concerned however, you're on the right track. God isn't a fan of religion either. Religion is in and of it's self an attempt by man to complicate that which God made simple and as a creation of man (not God) it has led to innumerable wars, murders, greed, and other sins. God doesn't want or need religion. In fact God doesn't want or need anything. It's quite the other way around. We need Him.

I believe whether you are religious or not, God or no God, the bible is still the way to live, and it gives people hope for salvation, why take that away, if everyone read and lived by the bible there would be no murderers, or hate, would you rather them all be on Satan's side, and keep murdering each other? It's easy for people to blame Satan for everything they do wrong, but everyone has a choice to be good or bad, I choose to be good, because that's how I am, the people who are bad will have to answer to some being much more powerful than anyone on this earth, remember, this is just MY opinion, I don't expect anyone to agree or disagree.

Well, the deity that we worship is good, kind. we attribute these things to the one we call God. On the other hand, Satan is upoosed to be evil. But, as Shakespeare says"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet". So, it is not relevant if the good person is actually Satan, because we are worshiping whoever is good. And the good and bad deities know that

When Adam and Eve, the first people God created, were still living the earth was perfect. but then when God told Eve not to eat the special fruit from the tree. satan who was in a form of a snake mislead eve and tricked her into eating it, then Adam followed. Then since God is all-knowing He found out and cursed the world where people kill other people and people must face pain and suffering and do all those wrong things. but because God still loves us even though were sinners he sent his only Son to pay the ultimate price in order to save us from all the consequences we did. The only way to Heaven is by believing and accepting Him into our life we will be saved thru Him. also if u dont know this but satan knows that there is a God much more powerful than him, he even fears God. but one day satan will be thrown into the fiery pits of hell destroying him by a warrior on his steed wearing white as a sign that hes purified.

Satan have been attentive since we looked for the forbidden knowledge... which some called the "intelligent design'... but God had been specific that we have individual marks in our thumbs and individual genes among other fellow humans aside from being humans and tempt to be of God as we are with God. So, Satan is just within us but it is not Him that we worship but eludes Him through the undying guidance of our individual religions.

You are just trying to be an argumentative butt wipe and stir controversy. Goofy questions don't deserve to be answered.
No one said God brought religion little fellow. That is MAN MADE. If man has a hand in it, it get's screwed up.
God simply sent down 10 commandments for his people to live by. The Jewish folks still live by the first 7(?) books of the old testament. It tells you how to deal fairly, if/then/else scenarios, when to rotate crops, what he requires of you, just loads of things. They don't pay attention to the new Book because they rejected Jesus as the savior. They wanted an avenger, but Jesus taught forgiveness.
We have taken the whole bible and made different religions out of it. The appostolics (woman) wear their hair long and in a bun, plus long dresses that go to the floor. You've seen them. That is because "we are to be unique and in the world, not part of the world" This style of dress seperates them from everyone else. On that 1 simple passage.
You have some hard core pentacostals that handle snakes. The bible reads "they shall take up serpents and not be harmed" (if they are pure in truth, justice, yada yada). They (their religion) took that 1 passage and made a following out of it. So in my mind they tempt God by doing this. This is OLD bible btw. In their mind they are correct.
I'm sure I'll catch flack for this, but you can't answer a question about "religion" without a "religious" answer.

We know from our eyes.God showed us a way to one religion but satan is the one who made all the others. God wont make satan so people deny him.Its to see whom the people wil fail by blindly believing in the wrong religions[no offense to anyone] and whom the ones who will choose the right ones which makes much more sense. You just answered you questions.ur right

I wouldn't go as far as to say satan created them. In each case, some MAN was able to convince alot of people into believing that his OPINION, was the correct one.
I do agree. If there was no religion, there would be no problem. I also think that many of our views of who or what GOD is would be more alike as well.
